Ways you can get involved
Join the Anti-Racism Staff Network
Did you know we have an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Network available to all our employees?
The Anti-Racism Staff Network is a space where we talk about all things race, culture, religion, and often also suggest improvements for the organisation to make it more inclusive. It’s a place to seek peer support – most people who attend have experienced racism before and can offer peer support to others if they need it. The Network meets every 2 months on Zoom, the next meeting is 00/00/2026. The Zoom link for all of our meetings is below.
Any staff member who feels passionately about anti-racism and inclusion work are welcome to join the network.

EDI Champions
EDI Champions are individuals who are passionate about championing equality and diversity initiatives within our organisation. They play a vital role by attending the network meetings, sharing information about initiatives and opportunities with their teams, and fostering a culture of inclusivity.
EDI Champions are fully supported by the EDI Team to make their team, service or workplace as inclusive as possible. Whether they have an idea in mind or would like inspiration on what they can do, the EDI Team is available for advice.
If you have a genuine interest in and commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion and are passionate about anti-racism then we would love to hear from you!

Lunch & Learn
We host the Lunch & Lunch every two months as a chance to learn something new and engage with colleagues. Each time, we choose a tv show, film, podcast or piece of media to discuss together and share ideas. Dates for the Lunch & Learn is on our EDI Calendar, and you can find out what our next topic is by emailing us!
EDI Co-Trainers
We’re always looking for individuals with lived experience of racism to support the delivery of the mandatory Anti-Racism training for all new starters at Creative Support.
As an EDI Co-Trainer, you’ll work alongside a member of the training team to co-deliver the Anti-Racism webinar, offering personal insights and experiences of how it feels to be a person of colour.
You may have past experience of delivering training, however this is not a requirement. Co-trainers are fully supported by the EDI and Training teams, and there are opportunities for further training available.

FAQs
Can anyone reach out to the EDI Team?
Any staff member of Creative Support can reach out to the EDI Team for information, support, resources, guidance or advice.
There is someone I support who uses racist language or behaviour. What should I do?
Any form of racism displayed by someone you support should be reported on an Incident Report. This report will come through to us, and we’ll make sure that the incident is addressed appropriately, and that all staff receive meaningful support from us.
I’ve experienced racism from someone that I support. I know they didn’t mean or intend it, but is there still support available for me?
Absolutely! We understand that people don’t always intend to cause harm with their language or behaviour, but that does not change how hurtful it is to be on the receiving end of racism. Email us to arrange a 1:1 peer support call, either via phone or Zoom.
I’m a Bank member of staff, can I still access support?
Yes! You can still reach out to us for support, or to join our Staff Network meetings, Lunch & Learns, or other initiatives you’re interested in.
How do I raise concerns about racism or discrimination?
You can raise concerns by reporting to your immediate line manager, or if you feel more comfortable you can email the EDI Team (EDI@creativesupport.co.uk) or HR (HR@creativesupport.co.uk).

EDI Newsletters
The EDI Newsletter comes out every 3 months and is easy way to stay up-to-date with opportunities, initiatives, events, celebrations or changes in policy related to race equality.
We welcome people who’d like to contribute to the newsletter by sharing an experience or good news story. Send us an email with your idea and we will support you to write this.
