Creative Support places great importance on the development and retention of all staff, which is achieved through actively valuing our staff and supporting them to achieve their full potential through training and work opportunities. Staff members are actively encouraged to apply for senior posts and to develop their career with Creative Support. We have also developed a wide range of employee recognition and retention initiatives and an excellent package of staff benefits. These include:

Life Assurance/Death in Service Benefit
Immediately on joining Creative Support you will automatically be registered for death in service benefit. This gives cover of two times your basic salary. The cover ceases when you leave the company.

Employee Assistance Programme
Creative Support recognises that our staff carry out demanding and responsible roles which are sometimes stressful. In order to support staff, we have an Employee Assistance Programme arranged with a specialist counseling agency, which offers confidential telephone and face to face counseling. The service also offers advice to employees and their families on legal matters, benefits and consumer rights.

Childcare Vouchers
Childcare Vouchers towards the cost of your child care for children up to the age of 15 can be paid for from your salary before tax and National Insurance contributions are calculated. This saves you money by reducing the amount of your tax and NI contributions.

Staff Shop
Creative Support is registered with an on-line retail website where staff can get good deals on various products and services, including:

  • Entertainment and days out, including balloon flights, Alton Towers and Megabowl
  • Motoring, including driving lessons, insurance and car rental
  • Finance, including loans, mortgages and insurance
  • Health, including pamper days, gym membership and eye tests
  • Shopping, including Curry’s, Empire Direct and Adam’s Kids
  • Travel, including travel breaks, National Express and youth hostels

Employee of the Month/Team of the Month
Each month you have the opportunity to choose your employee and team of the month. Our Employee of the Month is given a certificate and Marks and Spencers gift vouchers. Our team of the month get a day out of their choice to promote team building.

Long Service Gift
Employees who have worked with us for over 10 years can look forward to a bonus at Christmas with our Long Service Award. You will receive a £100 voucher on your 10 year anniversary and then an extra £50 every 5 years:

10 years service = £100 vouchers
15 years service = £150 vouchers
20 years service = £200 vouchers
25 years service = £250 vouchers

Payroll Giving
Do you regularly give to charity? If not, would you like to? Through Payroll Giving your contribution costs you less and the charity receives more. Employees can support any charity of their choice with a regular donation direct from their pay. It’s cheaper because it’s tax free – for example, a donation of £5 per month costs the basic rate tax payer £4.00 (the taxman pays the rest!).

Hospital Saturday Fund
HSF have been around for a long time and are the market leaders in Employee Health Plans. A range of plans are available, which may cover optical and dental charges, physiotherapy and chiropody, birth and adoption grants, hospital stays, specialist investigations and accident cover.

Enhanced Company Sick Pay Scheme
All employees are automatically covered by statutory legislation, but in addition, Creative Support offers two levels of Enhanced Company Sick Pay after 6 months and 18 months service. This is a discretionary scheme which can be improved or withdrawn without notice. We offer excellent welfare support for employees who have health problems that may affect their work.

Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
As well as being covered by statutory legislation, Creative Support has two levels of Enhanced Maternity Pay after 12 months and 24 months service and an Enhanced Paternity Pay Scheme.

The benefits and initiatives shown above are for employees on Creative Support Terms and Conditions. TUPE transferred staff will keep, where possible, their previous benefits; when this cannot be achieved, we will try to provide a similar Creative Support benefits plan. TUPE transferred staff can apply to switch over to Creative Support Terms and Conditions.
