Our fantastic services in Bedford are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our teams. We chatted with some of the folks at The Houghtons and Dove Lane, who told us what they love about working at their service.
The Houghtons
The Houghtons is a central service housing 6 adults. “I love working here, the residents are incredible,” said Judy, Registered Manager. “The staff team have grown tremendously in the two years that I’ve been here and we all work well together. We’re based not too far away from town which means there is always something to do, and it’s easy to get to with the bus.”
“The Houghtons is a fab home to work in, and Creative Support are a great company to work for. There is always opportunities to progress, and the training is fantastic. You really get support from Creative Support, and everything they offer is great.”
Dove Lane
Dove Lane houses 5 adults, situated in the lovely village of Harrold. “The role of Support Worker at Dove Lave is so stimulating and fulfilling,” said Registered Manager Denise Protty. “Making a difference to the lives of the people we support teaches me so much about choices, enjoyment and experiencing a meaningful life.”
“I really value the contributions of each member of our team. I comprehensively train staff, and develop an open, inclusive culture to make sure that the best interests of the people we support are met.”
“These are beautiful and vibrant services that we are proud of,” said Leanne, Service Director. “The role is rewarding, and we have a great leadership team who support all new staff to feel welcomed and part of the team.”
