On your marks, get set, go!

Our latest round of grants are now open!

In our ‘Year of Living Well’, we’re offering you the chance to bring your local community together to host a sporty event this summer.

There are two types of grant available:

A yellow circle with 'Celebration Grants' written in blue text accompanied by blue sports icons - a shuttlecock, basketball plus stars and squiggles.Sporty Summer Celebration Grant

Sporty Summer Celebration Grant worth up to £800. There will be up to five winners of the ‘Celebration’ grant. These events will bring together multiple services within their region for a big sports day. A maximum of one grant will be awarded per region.

A blue circle with yellow text which says 'Get Together Grants' with sports icons such as a ball and a racket.Sporty Summer Get Together Grant

Worth up to £300, these grants will be awarded to smaller events, but will prioritise awards to events that include multiple services.

The grant can fund anything you need to make your sports day a fantastic event, from venue hire, to the purchasing of sports equipment food, trophies or transport. You will need to provide an outline of how your budget will be spent as part of your submission.

As part of your application, we would also like for you to let us know how you plan to reach out to your local community to engage them in the event. This could be through inviting people from other services and the wider area. You could also look into partnering with local community groups or local businesses.
