We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our waking night team – Is that person you?!
We are recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker for one of our Supported Living Services in Cannock, Staffordshire.

The role of Waking Night Support Worker to provide person-centred care and who is experienced in supporting people with learning disabilities. We are looking for a calm, resourceful and energetic individual who is well motivated, hardworking and keen to join our team.

Your role will include:

• You will provide person-centred care and support to 3 people with a learning disability in line with their support plans and risk management plans to enable them to have good sleeping patterns, to be safe, sound and secure throughout the night.
• Provide medication support.
• To provide personal care to service users and assistance with a range of domestic tasks.
• Supporting service users in a person centred manner way Collaborating with service users, families, and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service that maximises outcomes for service users.
• Ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the service which will include weekends and bank holidays.

Experience of working with people with learning disability needs is essential and one year minimum experience is required. In addition, you must have a warm personality and be able to work in a person-centred way in line with positive behavioural approaches. A clean driving licence is beneficial. Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy.

This service has great transport links with multiple bus routes. It is in close proximity to some of our other services in the area.
