Closing Date: Thursday 18th December 2025
Voluntary Basis
Tameside, Greater Manchester
Part-Time

We are looking for a volunteer to run a communal coffee morning, bringing our residents together from across our 4 extra care services in Tameside. Volunteering with Creative Support is a great way to enrich the lives of people with support needs while helping our staff to deliver person-centred services.

We are looking for an outgoing, sociable and warm person, who’s a good listener. You will prepare and serve refreshments as well as providing conversation and companionship for the people we support. If you have a few hours to spare on a regular basis, we’d love to hear from you!

Once you have built a connection with the people we support, there will be the opportunity to develop the role into a befriender volunteer. In this capacity, you will spend time with the people we support, engaging them in conversation, activities and the local community. This can include going for a walk, a trip to a café or accessing local services such as the library.

Our Tameside extra care services provide person-centred care to older people with support needs. Our services are easily accessible via public transport.
