Support Worker
Creative Support is a non-profit provider of person centred care and support to older people, people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism spectrum conditions.
We are looking for a confident, strong and calm individual to work in our Maxwell Court Supported Living Service to provide person centred support to service users who have a learning disability; and some Mental Health needs so that they can experience a wide range of opportunities for personal development.
Do you have the skills in positive communication and engagement and able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the 11 Service Users we support in their own flats. This post is to cover a 24hr rota pattern, which includes sleep-ins, as part of a friendly, motivated team.
Do you have the confidence to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to develop as a skilled practitioner? You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
