We are looking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to assist in the delivery of high quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that may challenge in the Scunthorpe area. You will be helping provide support to six individuals living within a supported living service in a courtyard of flats. This is a very communal living area where everyone strives to support each other. The ideal candidate will by dynamic, hardworking, energetic and confident in supporting the Team Leader and Registered Manager to lead the co-ordination and management of the service to a high standard.

We are currently looking to add a Senior Support Worker to our team in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.

Senior Support Worker Duties:
• Demonstrate a warm, caring and empowering approach to visiting people within their own home and be flexible and responsive to the needs of service users as directed by their personal support plan
• Lead the staff team to provide the highest standard of person centred support in response to the individual needs and preferences of service users
• Provide direct support, staff development and supervision and joint working with families and outside agencies
• To take part in assessments and devise appropriate support plans in full consultation with service users and other agencies.
• To assist the manager with the smooth running of the team and service

Previous experience is essential for this role. You will be required to work in a flexible manner on a rota, which includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
