Relief Support Worker
Creative Support is a non-profit organisation which provides high quality person centred social care.
Based in Redcar our services offer supported living for people with learning disabilities. We are looking for confident, strong and calm individuals to provide person centred support to service users so that they can experience a wide range of opportunities for personal development.
You will need patience and the ability to adapt to each individual service user’s needs.
You will also have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You will have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
Twelve months experience is essential. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service, including directions.
