Recovery Support Worker

We are looking for a warm, approachable and motivated individual to work alongside our Service Manager to provide an outcome-focused support service for people over the age of 18 who are identified as needing housing relating support, specifically supported accommodation, to enable them to benefit from:
- Improved mental health
- Tenancy sustainment
- Maximisation of independent living skills
- Prepare for move on to an independent tenancy
- Better money management/debt and arrears reduction
- Better management of substance misuse issues
- Develop Daily living skills
You must have skills in positive communication, engagement and advocacy. You will need to provide person-centred housing related support for a maximum of 1 year to adults with mental health needs in an accommodation setting. To have a key oversight of the cases of support workers and be responsible for ensuring that outcomes are maximised, and service users achieve timely move on though the service and meets contract requirements.
You must be willing to undertake tasks as well as assisting and supporting service users with general activities of daily living including; shopping, meal preparation, cleaning and general household tasks, attending appointments and taking part in activities to promote recovery.
