We are looking to welcome a compassionate, flexible, and motivated Female Support Worker to our modern supported living service in St Helens, Merseyside.

 

Our service consists of 7 purpose-built apartments, providing a safe environment which supports the independence and wellbeing of our residents with complex needs. Each apartment is fitted with bespoke technology, including fall detection and epilepsy monitoring systems.

 

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in empowering residents to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. You will support residents to develop the skills and confidence needed in order to make progress towards greater independence. The role will involve assisting and encouraging residents to access the local community in St. Helens – such as opportunities, activities and services. No two days will be the same in this role, as our residents love engaging in a diverse range of exciting activities, making this a varied and rewarding role.

 

The successful candidate will be warm, positive, and committed to ensuring that our residents enjoy the highest quality of life.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering personal care and support with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Assisting individuals in leading fulfilling, valued lives and actively participating in the community.
  • Supporting service users in gaining independence, confidence, and competence in daily living skills, money management, social skills, and more.
  • Working collaboratively with families and professionals to provide consistent, tailored care.
  • Demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

 

We are looking for candidates from all walks of life. No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support and working in a bright, friendly environment! Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

 

This is a full-time position of 42 hours per week.
