‘I live my best life in a place I call home’

To kick off our 2026 ‘I statement’ journal series, we’re starting with a focus on how you can live your best life in a place you call home.

What does ‘home’ feels like to you? It might be a personal item, your favourite spot in the living room, or spending time with the people you live with!

Feeling a sense of home is really important for our mental health and wellbeing, it can help us feel calm and safe. It’s good for our minds to know we have a safe place filled with things that belong to us and make us feel comfort.

In our first journal, you will have the opportunity to think about what ‘living your best life’ means to you. For instance, it could be an activity or something creative, or what you may like to do regularly, such as having a Sunday roast!

Knowing what you value most in life helps staff and family to support you in achieving your goals. The journal supports you to set up plans to reach those goals so that you can continue to live your best life in a place you call home.

Journals are a great way to look back on what you want and what you’ve achieved. We’d love to hear about how you’re getting on so please email communications@creativesupport.co.uk with your updates, and we’ll share your journey on Creative Support’s social media.
