Get involved in International Women’s Day!
Tuesday 8th March marks International Women’s Day, and this year’s theme is ‘Break the Bias’. The official International Women’s Day organisation explained the meaning behind the theme, saying:
‘Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias’
To mark this year’s theme, we have a whole host of ways for you to be involved in International Women’s Day!
1) Send a picture of yourself making the ‘Break the Bias’ gesture with your arms crossed (as CEO Anna Lunts shows here!). These will be turned into a collage/postcard which will be shared on our social media pages and the Creative Support website.
2) Share your strengths and achievements or how you have broken the bias. We will be sharing these on our social media pages and website throughout the week.
3) Download our International Women’s Day Poster and either individually or as a group, fill in all of your strengths, achievements, or how you #BreakTheBias.

By sending any of the above to marketing@creativesupport.co.uk, you will be entered into a prize draw to win a wellbeing hamper! This is open to staff and people we support. With five hampers up for grabs, it could be on the way to you!
On the day we’ll also be sharing articles from some recent award winners so keep your eyes peeled for these too.
