Finalists at the Palliative and End of Life Care Awards

On Thursday 2nd July, four of our wonderful services attended the Palliative and End of Life Care Awards. These awards celebrate excellence in palliative and end of life care, recognising the bespoke support delivered by social care providers and hospices.

The Laurels Care Home in Carlisle was announced as a finalist in the Palliative Residential Care Provider Award, while Heysham Road in Morecambe, Lunedale Road in Billingham, and Doncaster Personalised Services were announced as finalists in the Palliative Care Team Award. Each one of these services deliver exceptional care, working closely with the people we support to ensure that they are effectively advocated for. Our staff continually go above and beyond to deliver person-centred care – even organising tailored events to fulfil people’s dreams.
