Creative Support Announced as Employee Benefits Awards Finalist
Creative Support is proud to have been selected as a finalist at this year’s Employee Benefits Awards in the ‘Best Financial Wellbeing Strategy – Large Employer’ category. The Awards recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals, teams, and organisations that have made a mark through their innovative reward and benefits strategies in the past year.
From the organisation’s many employee benefits, the award nomination focuses on Creative Support’s Staff Welfare Fund and Employee Assistance Programme. In recognition of the diverse needs and circumstances of Creative Support’s employees, the Staff Welfare Fund offers discretionary non-repayable grants of up to £350 to employees experiencing financial hardship.
The initiative aims to relieve financial stress and provide a safety net for staff members during times of difficulty. Since the start of the initiative, Creative Support has supported employees with grants worth over £46,000. Nearly 10% of the organisation’s workforce has benefitted from this initiative.
Creative Support’s Employee Assistance Programme, provided by Health Assured, is also promoted to all staff applying to the Welfare Fund. This service offers free advice, support and a 24 hour information line for all employees of Creative Support and extends to family and partners. The Employee Assistance Programme offers valuable advice on employment, finance, consumer advice, health and legal issues.
