Creative Stars – April Winners!
Congratulations to our latest round of Creative Stars winners!
Our service user awards celebrate the people who shine brightly and do wonderful things for each other. We have four exciting category winners, who will receive a badge, £30 Love2Shop voucher and a certificate.
Congratulations to this month’s round of winners:
High Flyer Award
Bryan, Blackpool
Bryan was nominated for this round’s High Flyer Award
for his amazing achievements over the past year. Not
only did he move into his new home recently, he has
also had his first ever eye test and blood test, used
public transport for the first time, and visited the GP
and the dentist! Bryan has smashed so many of his
goals, alongside enjoying more fun activities such as
watching the Elvis Championship and going for lovely
long walks with staff.
A huge congratulations Bryan, you’re an inspiration!

Eco-friendly Award
David Bennett, Bedford
Eco Champion David is passionate about gardening, and
especially composting using materials in the home that
would typically go to waste. He has been encouraging
everyone at his service to save their used tea bags for
composting, which has massively reduced waste in a
simple but very effective way. David loves sharing his
composting knowledge, offering great advice on how to
balance materials to create the best compost. It’s no
surprise that all the plants and flowers around his home
are thriving!

Positivity Award
Suzanne Williams, North Yorkshire
The ray of sunshine Suzanne has been nominated for her kindness and compassion towards her fellow tenants. After having a lovely day at a local day service, Suzanne always comes back and takes time to ask how people have been, what their day has looked like and what they’ve been up to. She is always laughing and doing fun things which brings lots of joy to her service, and is always so friendly and welcoming to visitors too.
Suzanne, your positivity radiates out to everyone who
knows you.

Community Champion Award
Ashley Wood, Stockport
Ashley has been nominated for the Community Champion
Award for his amazing help at the service recently. When
a tap came loose and water started to flood the kitchen,
Ashley leapt to the rescue, found the stop tap, and called
the Manager, calmly handling the situation with ease.
Ashley is very well thought of at his service, and is known
for his easy going nature and for being a friend to
everyone.
Ashley, you are so appreciated at your service!
