Folks in London Wowed by Interactive Yoko Ono Exhibition
Folks in London had an amazing time at the Yoko Ono exhibition at Tate Modern!
Not only did they experience the work of a ground-breaking artist, but contributed to the art themselves; hammering nails into canvases, drawing in blue on the walls, and sketching the outlines of their shadows.
It was a thought-provoking day which made them think about the themes of Ono’s work and her activism for peace.
After the exhibition, they enjoyed beautiful views of the Southbank and the Thames and decided they must visit the Tate again soon!
JW Meets Safari Animals in the West Midlands
JW in Shropshire loves going to the zoo. After his recent trip to Telford Zoo, he visited West Midlands Safari Park!
His favourite animals were the giraffes – their noses look so soft! He didn’t like the ostriches as they put their heads through the car window looking for food.
We hope you had a great day, JW!
Heather, CB and George Try Birdwatching in Alcester
Heather, CB and George in Alcester recently went on a bird-watching adventure at a nature day with the local church!
A professional bird-watcher came to give a talk about how to identify different British birds before taking everyone for a wander around the area with binoculars. They tried to spot as many birds as possible and cross them off on the checklist.
CB loved the spaniel that belonged to a lady at the church – it was such a cute dog!
