Creative Stars – November Winners!
Congratulations to our latest round of Creative Stars winners!
Our awards for the people we support celebrate the people who shine brightly and do wonderful things for each other. We have four exciting category winners, who will receive a badge, £30 Love2Shop voucher and a certificate.
Congratulations to this month’s round of winners:

High Flyer Award – Emily, Stockton on Tees
Over recent months, Emily has shown amazing determination and commitment to her personal wellbeing goals. With support, she began attending a weekly wellbeing group and has reached a significant personal milestone. Her progress was also recognised by her peers, where she received nominations for both Woman of the Year and Icon of the Year within her service.
Emily’s confidence has grown hugely during this time. From initially feeling anxious in group settings, she now actively takes part, offers encouragement to others, and recently spoke confidently in front of the group. She has also taken positive steps towards greater independence in the community – progress she can be incredibly proud of!
Eco-Friendly Award – Tom Collinson, Redcar
After chatting with staff, Tom decided to donate a number of unopened drinks he had in his home to a local food bank so they could be put to good use. Tom was happy to help and understood how this could support others in the community whilst also helping to reduce waste.
After contacting a nearby food bank, arrangements were made and the donation was gratefully received. Tom felt positive about contributing in this way and has since expressed interest in making further donations in the future!
Positivity Award – Lucy Sanders, Doncaster
Lucy has shown great courage by turning a challenging past experience into something positive for others. She recently led a bullying awareness workshop for people we support which involved sharing her learnings, highlighting help available and creating a safe space for meaningful conversation.
Her honesty helped create a welcoming and supportive environment, with attendees feeling reassured, less alone, and even forming new friendships through the session.
Well done, Lucy, and thank you for using your experience to support others!
Community Champion – Kat & Keelie, Wellingborough
After listening to feedback from peers at their service, Kat and Keelie brought ideas to life by launching a new monthly bowling meet-up at a local centre. From helping to arrange dates and times to proofing promotional content, Kat and Keelie took the lead on planning and helped create an activity that sparked excitement.
By offering a fun and social opportunity outside of everyday routines, the activity has helped boost confidence and support a stronger sense of inclusion. Its success has already inspired similar activities in other areas, and Kat and Keelie are keen to plan more events in the future!

Special thank you to
