Support Worker

Creative Support are looking for a support worker to join our friendly team in Wellingborough, Northampton. You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs in their daily lives, and promoting their independence.
Every day is different here at our service in Wellingborough, Northampton. You will be supporting our service users with a variety of tasks in their daily lives.
Residential Support Worker Duties:
- Provision of practical, emotional and behavioural support to service users
- Provide support to individuals around life skills
- A commitment to making a positive difference in individuals lives
- Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users
- Full time or part time hours available, to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service to include daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, can make clear decisions, and is creative, hardworking and reliable. While experience in a support worker role is not essential, we are looking for candidates with relevant life experience or transferable skills, as well as a friendly and respectful approach, and a commitment to service users and health and safety.
We offer full time or part time hours.
