Creative Support is a national not-for-profit organization, we are looking to recruit warm and person centered individuals in the Grimsby area to provide individualized support to service users with Autism and learning disabilities who live in supported living. The Willows is a purpose built supported living project to support individuals to achieve their goals and move towards independence. We are looking for well-motivated individuals to join the team to support our tenants within their home and the community. The ideal candidate will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support.

Support Worker duties:
– Provide person centered support,
– Ensure that service users enjoy a fulfilling and valued life,
– To ensure service users become as independent as possible,
– To work in a flexible manner on a rota which may include weekends and bank holidays.
– To support individuals to manage behaviors that challenge following individualized PBS plans.

We are looking for caring and supportive individuals who have a person centred approach. Our support workers will be a member of a team in one of our supported living services in the Grimsby area. We also have roles for people interested in community support. We have five services with an onsite team and several homes and people supported under the community team. We have a local office to support our staff.

Previous direct social care experience is not essential but is an advantage, full training will be provided.
