Creative Support is a busy and dynamic national charity with a track record in providing high-quality, person-centred support services in 70+ Local Authorities.

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and solution focused Director of Innovation and Transformation to join our Executive Management Team. The role will have leadership responsibility for the development and delivery of a Digital Strategy which supports our frontline priorities. The strategy will ensure all streams of work (across internal IT, other technologies and online systems) are aligned to embed user-focussed, secure and cost effective solutions to all elements of the organisation. The post holder will also take a lead in co-ordination and delivery of wider programmes of transformation, including of frontline services, with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

It will be key to maintain excellent communication with all engaged stakeholders to ensure quality standards are being met, all best practice is followed and that the focus is on continuous improvement.

You will be educated to degree level or have a relevant professional qualification within Health & Social Care and/or Technology. You will have experience in the delivery & management of frontline Health & Social Care services, ensuring you are able to understand the application and impact of technical solutions. You will have experience in the design of programmes of work – ensuring positive stakeholder management, effective problem-solving and delivery in line with clear timescales.

A genuine interest of the wider health & social care sector is essential. Continuous professional development will be provided but you must be able to work independently, willing to work flexibly and positively mobilise the teams to meet the changing needs of the organisation.

You will be based at our friendly Stockport head office with other hard working and highly performing people with some requirement for national travel. This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week.
