Gold Award

Melbourne Court, Tameside

A member of staff at Melbourne Court displayed exceptional bravery and heroism when responding to an emergency situation at the service. They immediately took control of the unfolding situation by using their initiative, staying calm and effective. This was subsequently aided by the entire staff team.

Over the past 18 months, the team has demonstrated extraordinary professionalism, compassion, and commitment to supporting each other, tenants and the organisation as a whole during a number of challenging circumstances.

Despite facing numerous challenges, each team member has worked seamlessly together and have consistently demonstrated a duty of care, and haven’t let hardship deter them from delivering a truly excellent quality of care. Their ability to remain calm under pressure, to support one another, be positive, and be resilient and to continuously perform at their highest level has been nothing short of inspiring.

Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and for consistently demonstrating the power of resilience and teamwork. You are an inspiration to us all.

A huge congratulations on your gold award Melbourne Court- you exemplify the values of excellent support.

Silver Award

Mojisolat Bakare (Mo), Support Worker, Manchester

Support Worker Mo is “highly valued in the team” and “is the main anchor of the service”. She recently went above and beyond for the 90th birthday of a person she supports, organising, planning, and cooking for the party herself. She prepared the buffet, decorations, cake, and venue, and provided a mix of British and Nigerian classic dishes. Mo is always “there to bring a smile” and is never afraid to challenge or share her thoughts and views. Her efforts allowed all the party guests to relax and have a good time, with many guests relaying their gratitude and thanks for her hard work.

Mo, your selfless work ethic and compassion have not gone unnoticed.
