Everything they do is person-centred – our service users come first and I really like that. It is incredibly busy, really fast-paced, I think that’s part of the reason I enjoy it so much and no two days are ever the same.

Training is another area where Creative Support are really good. I started as a support worker and Creative Support have trained me throughout my career; first Level 3 then Level 5 and now I am starting a Chartered Manager’s degree through the company which I’m very excited and nervous about.”

“I’ve worked for Creative Support for nine years. I get a lot of training and the managers are supportive but it’s the people I work with and the service users who make it special. We’ve got such a nice team and the support is so person-centred, that’s what I really like. The ladies we support have so much choice. They do music and dance classes, Zumba classes, gym, spa days, pamper nights and go on holiday. Our service users are genuinely part of the community, they go to Zumba and people know them, they go to the supermarket and the staff there say ‘hello’ and know their names. I’m really proud of that.”
