Warm Space Volunteer
We need volunteers to help with our Warm Space based at our Accrington Hub. We have a fantastic central hub in Accrington town centre which we will be opening up as a warm space every Friday afternoon from 1 till 3pm. As a volunteer your role is to welcome people to the hub, chat with people in a non-judgemental way and signpost if needed. We will be providing free tea and coffee during the warm space session and there will be activities such as board games.
We support our volunteers with an Induction, training for the role, a named volunteer supervisor, a monthly newsletter and a monthly online peer support group.
As a volunteer with Creative Support we offer training for your role, access to a volunteer supervisor, an induction, a monthly Volunteer newsletter, and an online volunteer’s peer support group. Together we can make a difference.

We would encourage you to apply to us even if you have not yet had your COVID 19 vaccine. You will be required to have your first COVID 19 vaccine prior to your interview and your second vaccine before you start volunteering with us. Applicants who are unable to receive the vaccination on medical grounds are still welcome to apply with provision of their official NHS COVID pass letter of medical exemption.
