Are you looking for a diverse role that is fun, stimulating and rewarding every day? Creative Support are currently looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.

We are looking for warm, caring and proactive Waking Night Support Workers to provide quality person-centred care and support at our vibrant supported living services in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. You will be responsible for providing respectful high intensity personal care as well as practical and emotional support to 5 service users with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism and complex needs. Ensuring that they are able to live a valued and fulfilled life! No two days will be the same at this service as our service users love to engage in a wide range of exciting activities within their homes and out in the community.

Support Worker Duties:

  • Supporting service users with personal care and medication administration,
  • Provide support to individuals with cooking, cleaning, housework and other life skills,
  • A commitment to making a positive difference in individuals lives,
  • Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks.

We are looking for candidates from all walks of life. No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support and working in a bright, friendly environment! Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
