Are you a reliable and friendly individual who is looking to volunteer some of your time in the local community?
The Creative Together Centre aims to provide an inspirational and inclusive space for the Creative Support community; including our staff, service users, volunteers, partners and individuals from the voluntary sector. The vibrant centre offers our service users opportunities for coproduction and creativity while also enabling us to connect with our local community and establish long-lasting partnerships.
Creative Together will house our established Breakthrough service, which has successfully run as a coproduced membership service for 20 years. To complement the Breakthrough membership, the centre will also offer a Creative Together membership that encourages imagination, participation and collaboration.
As a Meet and Greet Volunteer you will provide a warm welcome to clients and customers accessing our Creative Together Centre. You will greet customers, provide information about our activities and events and support with enquiries. This role would be ideal for someone who is confident, personable and enjoys meeting new people.
To support you in your role you will be offered training and regular supervision with an assigned supervisor.
Duties:
- Greet clients and customers and ensure visitors are signed in
- Provide information about activities and events taking place at the centre
- Offer and prepare refreshments
- Take messages from visitors and respond to enquiries

We would encourage you to apply to us even if you have not yet had your COVID 19 vaccine. You will be required to have your first COVID 19 vaccine prior to your interview and your second vaccine before you start work with us. This time will be used to complete post interview recruitment checks.
