Orpington, London

Apsley Court is located in St Mary Cray, Orpington, and we provide one bed retirement properties for adults over 60. We run regular activity sessions for our residents, and are looking for people who are enthusiastic, reliable and committed, to join our team and help deliver fun and engaging sessions.

We currently have an opportunity at Apsley Court in Orpington for an Activities Volunteer. If you have a couple of hours to spare and can commit to volunteering on a weekly basis, we’d love to hear from you.

You could run a quiz group to test everyone’s general knowledge skills, a craft group where clients can make works of art, or a gardening group where residents can contribute to the service’s lovely garden. Whatever great ideas you have, feel free to apply!

As a volunteer with Creative Support we offer training for your role, access to a volunteer supervisor, an induction, a monthly Volunteer newsletter, and an online volunteer’s peer support group. Together we can make a difference.

Suggested Time Commitment: 1 afternoon/morning per week (2-4 hours)

If you would like to discuss volunteering with us, the role you’re applying for or you application form you can contact our Volunteer Department on 0161 236 0829 or email volunteer@creativesupport.co.uk.
