Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking for Relief Support Workers to join our Relief Team in Newbury.

 

Based in the Newbury area, our Supported Living Services and Outreach Services for individuals with learning disabilities are seeking warm, engaging, confident and flexible people to be part of our highly motivated team.  You must be prepared to ‘go the Extra Mile’ to ensure that service users are enjoying the highest quality of life and have opportunities to become more independent and connected to their communities. We are looking for calm, resourceful and energetic individuals who are well motivated, hardworking and keen to join our friendly team. You will have excellent communication and team working skills whilst promoting service user’s dignity, independence and well-being.

 

Relief Support Worker Duties:

 

  • Provision of practical, emotional and behavioural support to service users,
  • Supporting individuals who communicate non verbally,
  • Support with community activities such as walking, swimming etc.,
  • Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users,
  • Support with Personal Care and domestic tasks.

 

Prior experience in this field of work is also essential for this role. You will be paid on a weekly basis.

As a Creative Support Relief Support Worker staff member you will have access to our free app which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country, provides information on the service and shifts as well as directions.
