Creative Support is a high-quality provider of support to individuals with a wide range of care needs including mental health needs, learning disabilities, and other needs. Nationally, we are continuing to grow at a fast pace and are looking for dedicated, caring individuals to join our staff team in your local area. This role is based at Heysham in Lancashire.

The Relief Support Worker role is an opportunity for you to utilize your existing experience and knowledge of working with adults with a learning disability and forensic background.

You will be warm, understanding and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be highly motivated and interested in working with people with complex needs and histories. You will be emotionally resilient and open to working with our Practice Lead to enable the service to strive to learn and change with our service users.

You will provide practical support to individuals to enable them to participate in community activities. You will also work with and develop a personal support plan that addresses individual needs, including helping service users to develop their domestic, financial and emotional management and achieve greater independence and self-esteem. You will actively liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies, as well as advocates/family members.

We need dedicated, flexible and responsive individuals to provide personalised support in line with the principles of recovery. We are looking for Relief Support Workers in Heysham who are highly motivated, have a positive outlook and are able to engage and motivate individuals to participate in a range of activities. You will have a keen insight into the challenges that our service users face on a daily basis and an awareness of the delivery of supported living care. You will be paid on a weekly basis.

Creative Support is a passionate, inclusive, and anti-racist organisation. We are a Stonewall Diversity Champion, Disability Confident Employer, who have recently received Investors in People Gold award.
