Drama Class Companion Volunteer

We have volunteer opportunities available at Scowcroft Lane, Oldham. We are looking for a volunteer to accompany our Service user to their weekly drama session. As part of the role you will meet with our Service user in Oldham town centre and travel together to the drama class in Ashton. Once at the drama class you will have the option of watching a class or if you’re feeling brave, joining in with the class. After the class has finished you will travel back to Oldham on the tram, reassuring any travel anxiety. An interest in drama and acting would be welcomed.

As a volunteer with Creative Support we offer training for your role, access to a volunteer supervisor, an induction, a monthly Volunteer newsletter, and an online volunteer’s peer support group. Together we can make a difference.

Time Commitment: Every Thursday, 12:00pm till 3:30pm
