August Service User Awards
Each month we hold our Service User Awards to recognise the incredible achievements of our wonderful service users. We love to reward people for the amazing things they have done, so if you know someone who you think deserves to be recognised then please fill out the form below.
Nominations can be sent in by staff members, other service users, and family members. Here are some ideas of what people can be nominated for:
- Health: Someone who has made an effort to start or keep up healthy habits, such as cooking healthy meals or exercising
- Activities: People who have tried new activities to help with their wellbeing, like arts and crafts, music or writing
- Helping others: Those who have gone out of their way to help others, for example through showing acts of kindness
- Coronavirus: Someone who has shown a positive approach despite challenges during the pandemic, such as supporting others to stay positive
There will be one Top Prize winner, one Coronavirus Award winner and six runner-up prizes. Each winner will receive a Love2Shop voucher, badge and certificate. Everyone who is nominated will get a Service User Award certificate.
All of the nominations will be judged by a panel of service users. If you would like to host a judging panel then please send us an email. We’ll send you a special judging pack so you can have fun reading through all the brilliant entries.
Last month, Philip from Stockton won our runner-up prize for buying a cookbook to make healthy meals for himself and his tenants. His support worker Stephen said “Philip is a pleasure to have at the service.”
You have until Friday 20th August to send in your nomination for this month.
Please send all nomination forms and panel requests to firstname.lastname@example.org or post to Service User Awards (Marketing) at Creative Support Head Office Wellington House, 131 Wellington Road South, Stockport SK1 3TS
