Service User Involvement Plans and Contacts

We hold a lot of special events, some are held every year, and these include:

  • National 5-a-side Football Tournament
  • Dignity Day events
  • Volunteers Day activities
  • Regional Health and Wellbeing days
  • National International Women’s Day event
  • Silver Surfer’s Week activities

We also encourage service users and tenants to get involved in local and national activity and awareness days, such as:

  • Get Walking Day
  • Human Rights Day
  • Wear it Pink Day
  • Dignity Action Day

And we put on additional events and activities, nationally, regionally and locally. In 2011 these included:

  • Personalisation event in the North East
  • Art exhibition in Lancaster
  • Quality event with the Board of Trustees
  • Safeguarding conferences during Creative Support’s Safeguarding Month
  • Open Day to meet the Board of Trustees and learn about the work they do
  • Friendship Group activities in Leeds
  • Creative Communities activities and events
  • Talent show in the South East

If you have any events you would like to let people know about on these web pages, please contact Lorraine Gainsborough or Olivia Turley. We would also love to hear from you if there are particular days we should mark and regional or national events you would like to suggest. For local events you should talk with your support staff.
