Short Job Description:

About the Service: Hall Lane is a supported living service for adults with a range of support needs including complex learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism. The service is comprised of one apartment block and three separate bungalows.

Our residents enjoy a variety of activities during the week, such as football matches, swimming, and walking.

Purpose of the role: As a volunteer befriender you would be an asset to both services. Many adults who have a learning disability have a small network of support and would benefit from someone to be their friend and support in fun activities or just to have a chat.

Suggested Time Commitment: We would suggest a minimum time commitment of 2 hours per week, between 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday
