Short Job Description:

Creative Support is a national not-for-profit organisation working in partnership with North Lincolnshire Council to provide Community Housing Related support to individuals with a range of needs including learning disabilities, mental health, a history of drug and alcohol misuse, people who are homeless, ex service personnel, ex-offenders and people in need of budgeting assistance.

The Community Housing Related Support team provides support to 475 people across North Lincolnshire from our office in Scunthorpe.

The post holder will effectively lead and coordinate a large Community Housing Related Support Service in Scunthorpe. To ensure that the service meets its contractual specifications, maintain excellent records, and ensure that positive outcomes are demonstrated to support people requiring tenancy related support to overcome their issues and develop the life skills to enable them to regain independence.

The post holder will have experience of
• Effective operational management
• Robust staff performance management
• Effective contract management and contract monitoring to the satisfaction of the purchasers and stakeholders
• Maintenance of a high standard service, cultural openness and continuous improvement
• Effective management of internal and external quality standards
• Services which are demonstrably delivered in accordance with the values and principles of Creative Support
• Maintenance of a high standard of staff morale, commitment and professionalism
• Active involvement of service users and carers
• Positive contribution to further service development in the area

The post holder will develop and maintain effective partnership working with other community/service user groups across the North Lincolnshire area to develop and maintain collaborative links with local agencies and community groups.
