Short Job Description:

We are looking to recruit a new creative leadership role within our established Marketing Team who will lead on social media marketing and take a role in PR for the company. One of the six key priorities in the current business plan is to raise our profile and improve our branding. We also have a strong commitment to ensure robust and successful marketing of our recruitment needs. This is a great opportunity for an individual who has experience in strategic and commercial marketing and is looking to progress in their career in a not for profit successful social care provider.

The ideal candidate will have excellent commercial marketing expertise combined with a firm commitment to social inclusion and knowledge of social care. You will work alongside a strong and dedicated existing marketing team to ensure positive representation and promotion of our national charity into the future. The successful post holder will be intuitive to the needs of the range of services we provide, have an excellent understanding of the job market and come with some marketing recruitment experience preferably in the social care sector.

You will be expected to plan and implement both one-off and ongoing local Marketing campaigns, using creative and engaging ways, both online and offline. You will provide regular analysis and reports on the outcomes of these campaigns. You will also be expected to identify and develop external partnerships to help support our approach. Experience working with design packages such as Microsoft Publisher and Adobe InDesign to a good standard is preferable but not essential as training can be provided.

Based within the Marketing Team, the successful post holder will be working for the Marketing and Communications Manager to plan targeted commercially relevant marketing and recruitment campaigns and initiatives across the country. For the initial first 6-7 months of the Team Leader role there will be some maternity cover responsibilities for the Marketing and Communications Manager.

As mentioned a key focus of the Marketing Team role is to ensure excellent campaigning around recruitment and this role will take some leadership around ensuring success in this area of profile raising.

As Team Leader you will show leadership and offer supervision, support and guidance to some members of the team. You will support members of the team develop their own skills and commercial marketing approach. The role will also require flexible working and national travel when needed.
