Short Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated senior support worker to assist the Team Leader and Registered Manager in the smooth management and provision of our supported living service in Stockport. Working with a small and highly skilled team of supported living workers, you will be responsible for the day to day provision of support to individuals with learning disabilities across 4 local houses.

You must be an excellent communicator, have a good understanding of learning disabilities, person-centred practice and have a real commitment to your development and the development of the services. You must be willing to work as part of a wider senior structure across Stockport and contribute to senior meetings and development opportunities. You must be able to lead a team by example, demonstrating positive practice, ethos and values at all times. We offer a hands on management approach to senior support staff and offer a full induction and access to relevant training.

Relevant and transferable skills and experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities are essential within this post.
