Short Job Description:

Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are committed to providing responsive, person centred care which promotes the independence, wellbeing and social inclusion of the people we support.
Community Housing Related Support (CHRS) is a large service operating across North Lincolnshire supporting people with tenancy related needs. We provide support and guidance with budgeting, daily living skills, housing issues, and health and wellbeing, all aimed at helping our clients manage a tenancy independently.
Befriending provides an invaluable service for people who are experiencing or are at risk of social isolation. We provide support to some of the most vulnerable people in society, who often face insurmountable barriers to accessing the local community. As a befriender you will support our clients through offering one-to-one support at our Scotter House, out in the local community, or in client’s own homes with the aim of increasing their self-esteem, confidence and motivation. The role can be as simple as sitting with a service user for an hour, providing an opportunity for them to speak to someone outside of their paid support network.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and develop your own confidence. You will be supported by our Community Connections Manager, and the wider support team, with regular supervisions and access to relevant training courses delivered by our Investor’s in People silver award winning training department. We can also provide employment references.
