About Us

The Learning & Development Team offer a range of training and scholarship opportunities to allow staff members in every role and at every level to fulfil their potential.

Service users are an integral part of training from auditing and delivering to attending. We aim to provide the highest standards of knowledge, opportunities and advice always centred within core skills and best practice. At the heart of everything we do is ensuring dignity, respect and compassion for all.

We work with external bodies to independently evaluate our training provision. We are an Investors in People Silver status organisation and a Skills for Care recognised provider. Our programmes are based on nationally recognised standards including the Care Certificate, Induction Standards for New Managers, National Occupational Standards and the Qualification and Credit Framework.
