General Election 2015 – Have Your Say!
On Thursday 7th May, you’ll be given the opportunity to choose the Member of Parliament (MP) who will represent you for the next five years, and have your say on important issues including health and social care, education, the economy, transport and the environment.

Gov.uk: Register to Vote – Join the electoral roll online in just a few simple steps, or request a form to register by post. The deadline to complete your application is Monday 20th April.
United Response: ‘Every Vote Counts’ resources – Visit this site to download easy-read booklets on a variety of topics related to politics.
Mencap: ‘Hear My Voice’ campaign – An initiative encouraging people with learning disabilities to get involved in the election and talk about the issues that matter to them.
Mencap: Election Day Factsheet – If you’re planning to vote at the General Election, this simple step-by-step guide tells you what to do.
Electoral Commission: Easy-Read Guide to Voting – This booklet uses simple words and pictures to explain all about elections, including what to expect when you visit a polling station and how to vote by post.
