My name is James and I live in Chorley. I would like to tell you some things about Chorley. I go out on support and enjoy nature walks, canal walks and local parks. There is a lot of wildlife to see in Chorley and I always like to be around swans, ducks and other animals. There is plenty to see.

Birkacre

There is a good woodland trail to walk. It is very muddy – make sure you have some strong walking boots.

 Astley Hall

This is a historic place to visit and you can learn about the history of it. There is a legend of ghosts in there.

Ducks and swans

The pond is big with a waterfall in the middle. There are plenty of ducks and two swans. Take plenty of bread with you as there are lots of pigeons who will try to steal it from the ducks!
