Service User Achievement Awards – August’s Winner Announced!
Congratulations to Michael, the winner of our latest Service User Achievement Award. He was nominated by Lesley, a member of staff at Howard Place, who said:
“I nominated Michael for the Service User Achievement Award to acknowledge his determination to succeed living out in the community despite suffering from poor physical health at the moment. He has recently moved into a bungalow which was in need of a lot of repairs and maintenance work but has approached all of this with a positive attitude and the work is almost done! The staff at Howard Place would like to say a big well done to Michael for the steps he has taken in living independently and we hope the prize money will come in handy for the rest of the decorating!”.
Other highly commended nominees in August included Gabrielle who has improved her confidence by volunteering at a local farm, Stuart who participates in interview panels at head office and has undertaken fire safety responsibilities at his project, Nicola who has completed a maths and English course as well as volunteering with the NHS and quitting smoking, and Steven who helps to clean and maintain his home on behalf of fellow tenants.
If you’d like to make a nomination for next month’s Service User Achievement Awards, please complete this form and return it to our Head Office. For more information, call Lois Peacock on 0161 236 0829 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
