Staff Awards – July, August and September’s Winners Announced!
Sarah received the Employee of the Month prize for July. Emily, who nominated her, said:
“Over the last 6 months Sarah has grown incredibly in confidence and assertiveness in our project. We work with service users that have challenging behaviour at Station Road and Sarah used to be very shy and reluctant to intervene. Sarah has gradually built her confidence. She has been appointed as a key worker and is taking the role very seriously and giving it her all. She is doing a wonderful job and the whole team are really fond of her.”
Rebecca received the Employee of the Month prize for August. Caron, who nominated her, said:
“Rebecca has been in the position of Senior Support Worker since January of this year. Her dedication to her new role has helped our respite service to achieve a fully compliant CQC report. Rebecca takes great pride in her position. She continuously has a positive outlook and always strives to attain the best possible outcome for our service users. She is genuinely interested in people and has the ability to treat them with dignity, respect and understanding, without imposing her own values. Rebecca has shown true leadership skills and is very well thought of by the team she manages.”
Sandra received the Employee of the Month prize for September. Mr and Mrs Dennison, who nominated her, said:
“Without Sandra’s help we could have been homeless, penniless and in debt. She helped to create a budget plan and savings account which we continue to follow and use. Sandra also helped us to go on a holiday from the newspaper which we can now afford to do three times a year.”
Team of the Month for July went to the staff at the Acorn Project. They were nominated by Edna, who said:
“For the last few months I have felt upset, but the staff have been my rock and helped me through a bad period of my life by showing me patience and understanding and often giving more than 100%. I want them to know how much it has meant to me to have such a good team working with me. A big thank you!”
Team of the Month for August went to the staff at Leonora Street. They were nominated by Carol, who said:
“They are an inspirational team who continued to work hard and support residents and each other during my period of sick leave. Each and every one of my colleagues have been very supportive to me since my return to work.
