Manchester Pride 2013
On Saturday 24th August, Creative Support took part in the Manchester Pride Parade for the fourth year running.
The theme was ‘Acceptable in the 80s’ and everyone who attended dressed up for the occasion.
Our float was decorated in a 1980s style as we toured the streets of the city playing our favourite songs from the decade and waving to the crowds which lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the parade.
Pride is about raising awareness and celebrating the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community, and as always we most definitely did both!
A huge thanks to everyone who got involved in preparations for the event and also to those who participated on the day. We’re already looking forward to next year!
