Brian’s Blog: Number Fifteen

Brian is a regular blogger for the Creative Support blog. Here is his latest post on what he has been up to recently.

Hello it’s The Prisoner here again!

Well “I am number 6” – you need to have one foot in the grave like me to remember the BBC comedy starring Richard Wilson and the Patrick Mc’Gohhan series, The Prisoner, in which he had labelled ‘number 6’ on his shirt. I am in flat 6 within my building; so I can relate myself to this show. Joking aside; I like to integrate humour into my blogs as I am a very happy person.

I have been informed that I have enough quizzes on file to start my own quiz show! So I need to get this quiz night that’s been discussed off the ground. I have an idea of a location but will need some input! I still don’t know if a quiz would be enough to sustain a whole evening. But that’s enough on that subject.

I spoke about the day out to York I recently enjoyed with one of my support workers. That gives me a crazy idea – why can’t a few services form a committee of staff and tenants to discuss possible events that might interest others. I for my part will soon resume my work in the project’s garden. The Project Manager Mark and I will be putting our heads together to see if there is anything to consider. One thing I would like to source is some kind of training in Horticulture so perhaps when I talk to others about our garden I know what I’m talking about! Time to finish, but don’t worry, just like Arnie, “I’ll be back!”

    Hi Brian

Yet another great blog! Make sure you come on Wednesday 1st May to the regional office for the service user involvement training and meeting. We can discuss what events you think we should try in the North East!

    Happy blogging Brian!
