Creative Support Art Exhibition
Plans for our service user art exhibition are now well underway. The deadline for artwork has passed and we are seriously impressed by the hard work and talent which is evident in the photographs, paintings, sculptures and craftworks we have received from service users living with a mental health need, or a learning disability.
The art exhibition will take place from the 27th September – 26th October and will travel around a number of areas in England where our service users live. The exhibition launches on Thursday 27th September at the National Football Museum in Manchester, which also happens to be the date and location of Creative Support’s AGM.
As of today we can confirm that the art exhibition will definitely visit the following cities:
And some others, most likely in the North East, Birmingham and Cumbria!
Exact dates and locations to be confirmed very soon so keep checking the Creative Support website for details. In the meantime, have a look at some of the great artwork which will be appearing in the art exhibition: ‘Princess Anne’ by Avril from Manchester, ‘Swans’ by John from Burnley, and ‘Dog’ by Patsy from Bury.
