Training Success Stories at Choices For Life!
Members of our Choices For Life service in Hartlepool have been working hard to gain new skills and qualifications.
Recently, two service users took part in Hartlepool Borough Council’s Walk Leader Training with and Walk about in Hartlepool with the aim of planning and running their own walking groups.
Four others have attended Food Hygiene Training at Hartlepool College of Further Education, with two receiving certificates of attendance and two being awarded Food Hygiene Certificates which will allow them to pursue volunteering opportunities at the local social enterprise café.
And a group of six participated in a session to improve their confidence and build the skills needed to get involved with meetings in their communities.
We offer a wide range of training opportunities to our service users. To find out more, take a look at our Service User Training Calendars.
