Carers Week 2012 is now underway from now until 24th June!
This nationwide celebration is a chance for all of us to recognise the contribution made by unpaid carers to the people they care for and their communities.
Sir David Jason OBE, one of many celebrity supporters of Carers Week, says: “I am very happy to offer my support to all the carers out there who give of their time and efforts so generously. Sometimes the role of a carer can be a very hard and lonely one and Carers Week is a time when hopefully a carer doesn’t feel quite so alone. If each carer felt that one aspect of their lives had been improved with such a caring week, then the concept has been a huge success.”
