    I live in Middlesbrough and have just learnt of a weekly social event running for some length of time just down the road.
    Being isolated apart from the 3 hours a week that I get from floating support (Angel’s) ladies.
    Other activities have also passed me by, no fault of the angel’s. I have lots of complex needs that take pride of place for the few hours I have with Creative Support.

    This issues has been raised many time in recent meetings I have attended (again with supports from my angels)
    Therefore we think it would be of great help to put a list of events within Creative support in each area. No postage would be needed, as each supports worker could deliver it and then could discuss support that would be needed to access such activities and events.

    I do hope this can happen so we can all take full advantage of the things Creative Support must go to great lengths to make happen.

    We have an activities and events calander on our website in our “Service User Section” and on the page “Service User News & Events”.

    It’s been recently introduced so is a “work in progress” and therefore does not contain all activities and event as yet (though we are working torwards this).

    Hope you find this useful. It may good idea to inform your support worker about this section too?
