April is NMDS Month – we’re making something boring but important FUN! Honestly!
So… what’s this NMDS?
The National Minimum Data Set (NMDS) is a collection of information about social care employees in the UK. The information is used by the government, commissioners and funding agencies in social care planning and resource allocation and helps us to plan for the future. Check out the FAQ for more information.
Why is it so important?
We are required by law to submit NMDS information for all employees. In return, Creative Support will receive funding and help with recruitment, policy, development and commissioning. And you will continue to have all the resources and support you need to do your job effectively so everyone’s a winner!
To make this boring but important task more fun, look out for a fresh NMDS challenge each week in April – you could win a Service User Involvement Grant for your project, or Love2Shop vouchers for staff. Check out the posters and weekly challenges here.
Closing date is 2 May so don’t delay!
