£300 raised for George House Trust

With just a few days of fundraising around World AIDS day on December 1st, Creative Support raised £300 in donations for the George House Trust. This money will go directly towards supporting people in Manchester and the North West of England who have HIV and are experiencing financial hardship.

A large chunk of the money was raised on World AIDS day itself through the sale of delicious red ribbon cupcakes and gingerbread biscuits made by staff at the excellent Cyber Café at Dale House. Big thanks also to the brilliant Marketing team at Head Office, particularly Alannah and Suzanne, who did a great job in emailing us all to raise awareness of World AIDS day and to promote the facts and dispel the myths around HIV/AIDS.

To all who donated money, or bought the aforementioned cakes, or bought and proudly wore red ribbons, or wore red to work on World AIDS day in support of such a worthwhile cause, I’d like to say I’m really proud to work with such big hearted people.
